With reports that Normani had been left off the list of performers for the 2021 VMAs, a last-minute change of plans found Normani performing her latest single, “Wild Side” on the VMA stage along with Teyana Taylor as they channeled a classic Janet Jackson performance. Taylor, who was strapped to a gurney, much like a fan who attended a Janet Jackson concert in Hawaii back in 2002, was the subject of Normani’s sexy performance as she grinded on the multi-faceted artist.
