An American man visiting Switzerland almost took his last ride during a tandem hang gliding adventure. Chris Gursky posted the incident to YouTube. He was ready to fly off of a cliff with a pilot but Gursky wasn’t attached to anything.
Two minutes of fear happen next. The footage shows Gursky holding on as the pilot tries to find a clear area to land. They flew over trees and houses with Gursky struggling to maintain his grip. At one point, he was only holding on with one hand. They eventually found a grassy area to bring the hang glider down. Gursky joked that he had left a hand imprint on the metal bar because he held on so tight.
