According to the report, Amazon Prime Video has just inked a deal to stream Universal live-action releases starting in 2022.
The deal is very specific because Peacock also has an agreement with Universal to stream its movies.
In the first four months of a Universal movie release, Peacock will have access to the streaming rights. After the first four months, the movies will move to Amazon Prime Video for 10 months then return back to Peacock.
This announcement comes after Netflix signed a deal with Sony Pictures to stream its content.
