Hundreds gathered in Minneapolis over the weekend to protest the death of Amir Locke, a 22-year-old black man who was shot by police executing a ‘no-knock’ search warrant. Protesters are calling for the officer who shot Locke to be fired, and for Interim Police Chief Amelia Huffman and Mayor Jacob Frey to resign. Locke was not one of the people named in the search warrant. Mayor Frey has declared a temporary moratorium on ‘no-knock’ warrants in the wake of the shooting.

Should ‘no-knock’ warrants be made illegal?
