New ‘Alice in Wonderland’-Inspired Pop-Up Bar Coming to Denver
“We’re all mad here!”
The Denver bar scene is known for the eclectic pop-ups that show up offering fun and different experiences. And a new pop-up is having us go mad! Scheduled to hit the Mile High City this fall, the Alice in Wonderland-themed pop-up is billed as an immersive cocktail adventure that promises to be “the tea party to end all tea parties.
Put on by organizer The Wizard’s Den, The Alice: An Immersive Cocktail Experience is expected to be an immersive alternative reality experience. The 90-minute Wonderland experience is set to come to Denver from September 5–26, though the specific location has not been revealed.

The experience will allow adventurers to create their own unique Wonderland cocktails, solve riddles and challenges, play croquet, paint roses red, and, of course, enjoy “Eat Me” cake. Organizers are also clear to point out that no flamingos have been or will be harmed during the adventure.
Several pop-ups are planned for the Denver area this fall, including a floating cinema the first week of September; the Denver Performing Arts Complex is planning to host a “Sculpture Park Fitness Series” throughout August and September; local performance troupe The Handsome Little Devils have been putting on pop-up performance art shows called Joy Bombs over the last few months, intended to spread magic and cheer when one least expects it.
This new concept of a wild tea party sure sounds like fun and will likely be one popular place to visit this fall! How does a crazy tea party sound to you right now?
