Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ Blasts Back To #1

‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has rocketed back to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

The festive classic climbs one spot from #2 to #1 on this week’s iteration of the coveted count.

‘All I Want’ amassed 31.4 million US streams (up 19%) and sold 7,000 downloads (up 8%). The track also commanded 27.1 million radio airplay audience impressions.

It marks the second time atop of the tally for the track, which first hit #1 on its 25th anniversary last year.

Since its 1994 unwrapping, ‘All I Want’ has conjured up 4.1 billion in total radio audience, 1 billion on-demand streams and 3.7 million in download sales in the US.

The song sees Mimi extend her Billboard record of most weeks at #1 to 83.

‘All I Want’ also makes history as the first holiday song to have topped both the US-based Hot 100 and the Official UK Singles chart, where it hit #1 for the first time this past week. As at writing, it reigns at #1 on both tallies.

Carey’s various wins come on the heels of amplified activity, including an Apple TV+ special (which arrived in tandem with a soundtrack album) and ‘Oh Santa’ collaboration with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.
