Mariah Carey Has A Secret ’90s Alt-Rock’ Album

Last Fall, Mariah Carey dropped her memoir ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’.

She revealed a lot of information from her personal life as well as something hardly anyone knew about.

Mariah had recorded a secret ’90s Alt-Rock Album around the time she released her classic non-stop smash album ‘Daydream’.

The crazy thing is that she never mentioned the name of the album or alias, but she did tweet recently about it and used the hashtag #Chick. Quickly fans were able to find the hidden album under the band name ‘Chick’ called ‘Someone’s Ugly Daughter’.

According to people who worked on this secret project, Mariah Carey would work on ‘Daydream’ during the day, and at night Mariah Carey turned into her alter-ego.

Sony was the main reason why the project was ‘hidden’ because they did not want this to take away from her ‘Pop-star’ image.

The ‘Chick’ project was the vessel for Mariah Carey to learn that she does not need to listen to any executives. She wanted to have control over her creativity.
