If you own one of the following vehicles, you might want to make sure you have an alarm on it.
According to data from the Metropolitan Auto Theft Task Force, the most stolen car in Denver this year is the Chevy Silverado. 325 of them have been stolen in the metro area from January through March 2021.
That’s followed by another pickup, the Ford F-250. 248 of those rides have been stolen.
Overall, Denver has a very “high rate” of frequency for cars stolen. Yikes.
The other more vulnerable cars in the top 10 include Honda Accord, Kia Optima, Hyundai Sonata, Honda Civic, GMC Sierra, Ford F-350, Hyundai Elantra and Kia Sportage.
