The city of Oakland will honor the life of Digital Underground frontman Shock G.
A day-long celebration for the late rapper will take place on August 21 and give back to the community.
Shock’s friends and family will get together to feed 2,000 homeless community members in his honor. Afterward, a motorcade will travel to City Hall for a musical tribute to Shock G.
Shock G passed away earlier this year. He was 57.
