From The Fashions To The Speeches And Tributes… A Recap Of The 2020 Emmy Awards!

The 2020 Emmy Awards was done virtually and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel from the Los Angelos Staples Center on Sunday!

Regina King, who won an Emmy for best lead actress, limited series/TV movie for HBO’s Watchmen, wore a Breonna Taylor t-shirt to remember the slain EMT from Louisville, who was killed by police serving a no-knock warrant!

There were also some amazing tributes, remembering icons and movie stars too! Those being honored with a rendition of “Nothing Compares 2U” by H.E.R. included Regis Philbin, Naya Rivera, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and of course Chadwick Boseman!

Zendaya was nominated for “Euphoria.”

A Canadian comedy, “Schitt’s Creek” really shined at the Emmy Awards, winning a total of seven honors, including Best Comedy, Lead Actor and Actress and More! See the complete list of winners HERE
