Gregory Jacobs, the charismatic Digital Underground rapper/producer, who performed as Shock G and Humpty Hump, has died at the age of 57.
Aside from being the front”man for Digital Underground, Shock is also known for his character “Humpty Hump” who had hip-hop fans dancing to the classic song “The Humpty Dance.”
Shock is also known for introducing 2Pac to the rest of the world, on the ole school jam “Same Song”.
According to his father, he was found dead in a Tampa hotel room. A cause of death is pending an autopsy.
