Billy Porter is HIV-positive and that’s something he’s been keeping to himself since finding out in 2007 when he was first diagnosed
Now, the Pose star is opening up about it because, as he says … “The truth is healing.”
Porter says after his HIV was first detected 14 years ago, shame and fear drove him to keep it a secret especially while trying to make it in the entertainment industry, that he says hasn’t always been kind to him.
