Martin Lawrence Finally Reveals Why He Ended ‘Martin’

Lawrence recently sat down with GQ magazine to finally set the record straight on what happened to the “Martin” show back in the day!

According to the article, it says that a 1997 sexual harassment lawsuit, filed by co-star Tisha Campbell, is the real reason the sitcom Martin ended.

Lawrence mentioned in the article that he and Campbell never discussed the lawsuit.

He also added, “Yeah, because none of that was true. It was all a lot of bullshit and, just whoever’s side it was, it was bullshit. We don’t need to talk about something that just didn’t happen. So, I just decided to walk away from the show. I just decided to end it. People said that I got canceled, but that wasn’t the case. I decided to just leave the show.”

DAYYYUUMMMM Martin! Additionally, according to People magazine, Campbell charged Lawrence with a bunch of stuff that was settled out of court, like repeated and escalating sexual harassment, sexual battery, verbal abuse, and related threats.
