City Of Denver Proclaims Wednesday, Oct 9th “Pat Bowlen Day”

The City of Denver and Mayor Michael B. Hancock will officially proclaim Wednesday, Oct. 9th as “Pat Bowlen Day.”

The proclamation will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the front steps of the Denver City & County Building.

The ceremony is going to start with Mayor Hancock, who will present the Mayor’s Gold Challenge Coin in Mr. Bowlen’s honor.

A Broncos flag will be raised over the City & County Building and unveil the temporary street sign “Pat Bowlen Way” on Bannock Street in downtown Denver.

As you recall, Bowlen passed away earlier this year from Alzheimer’s.

Before Sunday’s game against Titans, Fantennial Weekend will feature The Bronco’s celebrating their 60th season and the NFL’s 100th season, as well as Bowlen’s and Champ Bailey’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
