Description

From the absurdist comedy of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, creators and stars of the hit Adult Swim series Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, comes their fourth nationwide live tour, Tim and Eric Awesome Tour, Great Job! Chrimbus Spectacular 2010, kicking off in Seattle on Nov. 1, and wrapping up in Atlanta on Dec. 5. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 17. Much like the television series, Tim and Eric Awesome Tour, Great Job! Chrimbus Spectacular 2010 is a fast-paced, live variety show, complete with short films, parodies, pranks and musical numbers. Tim and Eric will also show never-before-seen videos and clips from their upcoming one-hour holiday special, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Chrimbus Special, which will premiere December 12. Throughout the tour, special performances will include the band Pusswhip Banggang and Neil Hamburger will perform the opening set. Heidecker and Wareheim got their start on Adult Swim as creators of the much-loved series Tom Goes to The Mayor. Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, produced by Absolutely Productions, completed its fifth season earlier this year. On December 12 at midnight (ET/PT), Tim and Eric will debut their first one-hour holiday special, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Chrimbus Special. Chrimbus is a holiday observed on December 12th to commemorate gift receiving. As folklore goes, each year Winter Man travels through the forest bearing gifts for those who have kept their Chrimbus Bushes trimmed and wet. Unlike trees, the Chrimbus Bush is typically best kept neat, compact and ornamented. On September 14, Warner Home Video and Adult Swim release Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Season 4 on DVD. The unique series’ fourth season features tons of unconventional comedy and uncomfortable situations. Additionally, the release boasts must-see guest appearances by Alan Thicke, Ben Hur, Michael Ian Black, Fred Willard, Richard Dunn, Jonah Hill and James Quall.

Description

The Ogden Theatre was built in 1919 by the same designer of the Bluebird Theater. The Ogden Theatre originally hosted live performances such as weekly organ recitals, dances, lectures and vaudeville acts - most notably, the legendary Harry Houdini. By 1937 it had been converted to a movie theater that featured everything from the classics to the avant garde. In the '80's it also featured the cult movie classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The Ogden Theatre was re-opened in 1993 featuring a wide variety of live performances. The theatre found its niche and has become Denver's premier concert venue featuring approximately 150 concerts per year. The Ogden Theatre is an official Denver landmark and a national historic landmark.

The Ogden Theatre is operated by AEG Live. AEG Live, the live-entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, is dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance, touring for a variety of programming, and multi-media production. AEG Live, the nation's second-largest concert promotion and touring company, is comprised of special event, broadcast and exhibition divisions, fourteen regional offices, and numerous state-of-the-art venues nationwide. AEG Live has an international reach with regional and local presence in San Diego, New York, Las Vegas, London, Nashville, Houston, Dallas, St. Louis, Atlanta, Denver, San Francisco, Florida, and Los Angeles.

Parking:
